The objectives of the internship were to collaborate on current research<br>projects, gain insights into advanced research methodologies and technologies,<br>discuss future collaboration opportunities, and establish collaboration with NITech\u2019s<br>research team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"583\" src=\"https:\/\/satreps-pome.web.nitech.ac.jp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Sakura_photo1-1024x583.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-471\" srcset=\"https:\/\/satreps-pome.web.nitech.ac.jp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Sakura_photo1-1024x583.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/satreps-pome.web.nitech.ac.jp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Sakura_photo1-300x171.jpg 300w, https:\/\/satreps-pome.web.nitech.ac.jp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Sakura_photo1-768x437.jpg 768w, https:\/\/satreps-pome.web.nitech.ac.jp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Sakura_photo1.jpg 1081w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The internship aimed to collaborate on ongoing research projects at NITech, gain<br>insights into advanced research methodologies and technologies, explore potential<br>future collaborations and exchange of knowledge, and establish professional<br>connections with NITech supervisors and students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the internship, students had the opportunity to participate in various research<br>activities, including material characterization, wastewater analysis, and material<br>performance testing. The students were exposed to several state-of-the-art facilities<br>and tools such as Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Fourier-Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), Synchrotron Radiation X-Ray Diffraction (SR-XRD), Field<br>Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (FE-SEM), UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, Gas<br>Chromatography (GC), Ion Chromatography (IC), and Microbial Fuel Cell (MFC)<br>Performance Test.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The students were assigned to four different laboratories, each focusing on a specific<br>research topic. Prof. Dr. Hidetoshi<br>Miyazaki<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Throughout the visit, the NITech supervisors and students were extremely welcoming<br>and supportive. The supervisors shared their expertise and provided invaluable advice<br>on research topics and methodologies. The opportunity to work<br>alongside highly skilled researchers, learn advanced research techniques, and<br>collaborate on meaningful projects has broadened our knowledge and opened new<br>doors for future collaborations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We extend our heartfelt thanks to Assoc.
